On his profile, Joel holds a dog and wears a huge smile. On her profile, Tianna wears her bruins jersey and has many soccer photos, how could they not swipe right? Luckily, they both did and what seemed to be a simple tinder match turned into their forever love story. After a couple days of talking, Joel asked Tianna if she wanted to go on a dinner date and while Tianna was enjoying getting to know Joel, she was nervous. She talked it over with some friends who told her she was being ridiculous and that it was "one date", just go! A huge thank you to Jessica and Penny for the tender push. After just one date, Joel and Tianna were inseparable and following a few weeks of packing an overnight bag, Joel had basically moved himself in. Thankfully Tianna's landlord, Corey, didn't seem to mind due to Joels easy going nature. Throughout the next 6 years, Tianna and Joel added to their family with getting their amazing Frenchie Fenway, bought a house and have gone on countless adventures. Their love for the outdoors, Sunday football watch parties with friends and many live sporting events have brought them closer and closer together. They've shared their hobbies together with Joel learning how to snowboard and play soccer while Tianna has picked up an unhealthy obsession with getting better at golf. To date, she’s only beaten Joel twice — but who’s counting? After trips abroad, 11 weddings attended together and 3 bouquet catches (but again, who's counting). Joel decided it was time to ask Tianna to marry her. On a fun trip to Whistler with Corey, Carrissa, Ian, Stuart and James, a beautiful hike to a waterfall was where Joel went down on one knee and asked Tianna the big question. Tianna's answer was potentially spoken before Joels knee even hit the ground. Now that they plan their special day, they look through the memories made over the past few years and the fantastic friends and family they now share and can't express how lucky they are to have this much love and laughter in their lives. They want to thank each of you for being a part of their journey and adding to this wonderful life they have.

Tianna's maid of honour, Corey, has been there for Tianna ever since she can remember. Corey has always been the calm voice of reason and a great big sister to look up to. Corey was a huge part of Tianna and Joels relationship and even let Joel move in with them very early into their journey. When it was finally time for Tianna and Joel to move out of Coreys house they didn't stray far from their amazing landlord and bought the house right next door. When Joel was ready to get down on one knee, Corey was once again there for them both, joining them on their hike to Rainbow falls and capturing their special moment.

Tianna's matron of honour, Carrissa, has also been there for Tianna for her entire life and is the quintessential big sister! Tianna and Carrissa are exceptionally similar and are always sure to speak their mind and stand up for those they care about. Its possible that Tianna learned to be so outspoken from her big sister but is also lucky enough to see the kind, considerate and caring side of Carrissa. Nudging Joel along the way she helped with creating the perfect ring for Tianna along with being there and ready to celebrate on the trip after Joel popped the question. Tianna can't wait to celebrate with her again on the wedding day!

Liza and Tianna met when they were just 9 years old at soccer. The two have been friends ever since and spent their younger days having sleepovers, playing in tournaments together then finally being able to go through university together. Tianna and Liza have only grown closer throughout the years and spend almost every football Sunday together. Liza is one of the most loyal and fun friends anyone could have and you will no doubt find her on the dance floor throughout the night!

Tianna also met Jessica at soccer when they were 9 and the two were able to play with one another from 9 years old, through all star then finally into university soccer. Despite Jessica falling asleep before they left the university and Tianna not sleeping in vehicles at all, they still sat beside each other almost every bus trip. Tianna couldn't think of a more kind person than Jess and is beyond lucky to have someone like Jess by her side on her special day!

TNT - the dynamite duo! Tianna met Tianna in youth soccer, huge shocker, right? The Tianna's not only share a name but they also share an outgoing and loud personality, a love for tequila and at times, one brain cell. All jokes aside, the Tianna's have enjoyed so many adventures together throughout youth soccer, university and now their adult life. From hiking to road trips, golf and concerts, these two will always find fun and laughter along the way!

This will probably come as a surprise to nobody but Tianna met Fiona during youth soccer as well. T and Fi also graduated from both high school and university together and enjoyed endless memories along the way. From late night study sessions to early morning practices, karaoke nights and everything in between! Fiona has always been there for Tianna through thick and thin and there isn't a more dependable friend than Fi.

Tianna and Penny originally met through Penny's twin sister Fiona! They started forming their own friendship along the way and went through high school and university together. Tianna and Penny have shared many memories such as their high school trip to Italy, prom, Canada day trip to Jasper and university graduation. Penny was one of the main factors in pushing Tianna to go on her first date with Joel and she couldn't be more thankful. Penny has always been an honest and fun loving friend whose laugh lights up any room.

Penny Raymond

Brandon and Joel met in middle school and despite Brandon being 2 years older, they always had common interests and grew up best pals. Even with Joel moving to British Columbia after finishing high school, they kept in touch throughout the years apart. Just last year Brandon decided to move out to BC and what better place to go than where you already have a friend. Joel and Tianna told Brandon he could live with them for a few months to try things out in Prince George but over a year later they've all become the best of friends.

Joel met Lucas at work when Joel got his first ever apprentice. Despite Lucas being just a young 17 year old at the time, he still towered over Joel in height. The two quickly found their common interest of sports and have since played in the same golf tournaments together as well as playing one another in baseball. Lucas is by far one of the kindest people around and is one of the most dependable friends you could ask for.

Alex, another electrician, met Joel through work. Alex was one of the first journeymen Joel ever worked for and the two became quick friends. They bonded over their love of playing and watching sports as well as their enjoyment of the outdoors. Alex is an incredibly fierce friend and does everything at 110%. Joel has now brought Alex into the golf world and its been a whole new adventure ever since!

It all started on Halloween night, 1997. Charlton, just 2 years old, was ready to go for his first ever trick or treating adventure. Unfortunately, Joel had other plans and the family had to end their Halloween festivities early to go to the hospital to await Joels arrival. We're not sure if Charlton ever forgave Joel after this but the two seem to still enjoy playing sports together, going to baseball games and spending qualify sibling time together when they get the chance!

Joel met Alex through work where they came up as apprentices together. Alex and Joel are both fun loving and calm people which brought them together. They bonded, you guessed it, through their joy of golf and get to play in the Aberdeen Ironman tournament together almost every year. If you could guess where these two would be on a sunny day it would usually be on a golf course while enjoying a nice cold Kokanee.

Originally, Tianna and Reg were friends but she has since been replaced. Once Joel and Reg met they became best of friends and enjoy playing baseball together in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. The group have been lucky enough to go on many snowboarding trips together to Jasper and powder king where they probably have too much fun on the slopes. Don't let his quiet demeanor fool you, this guy will be found getting down on the dance floor!
