On his profile, Joel holds a dog and wears a huge smile. On her profile, Tianna wears her bruins jersey and has many soccer photos, how could they not swipe right? Luckily, they both did and what seemed to be a simple tinder match turned into their forever love story. After a couple days of talking, Joel asked Tianna if she wanted to go on a dinner date and while Tianna was enjoying getting to know Joel, she was nervous. She talked it over with some friends who told her she was being ridiculous and that it was "one date", just go! A huge thank you to Jessica and Penny for the tender push. After just one date, Joel and Tianna were inseparable and following a few weeks of packing an overnight bag, Joel had basically moved himself in. Thankfully Tianna's landlord, Corey, didn't seem to mind due to Joels easy going nature.

Throughout the next 6 years, Tianna and Joel added to their family with getting their amazing Frenchie Fenway, bought a house and have gone on countless adventures. Their love for the outdoors, Sunday football watch parties with friends and many live sporting events have brought them closer and closer together. They've shared their hobbies together with Joel learning how to snowboard and play soccer while Tianna has picked up an unhealthy obsession with getting better at golf. To date, she’s only beaten Joel twice — but who’s counting?

After trips abroad, 11 weddings attended together and 3 bouquet catches (but again, who's counting). Joel decided it was time to ask Tianna to marry her. On a fun trip to Whistler with Corey, Carrissa, Ian, Stuart and James, a beautiful hike to a waterfall was where Joel went down on one knee and asked Tianna the big question. Tianna's answer was potentially spoken before Joels knee even hit the ground. Now that they plan their special day, they look through the memories made over the past few years and the fantastic friends and family they now share and can't express how lucky they are to have this much love and laughter in their lives.
